I see Failed to sign in to an Xbox Live profile error on game launch!

It means you had the bypass version of the game before and it created special credential files on your system, which prevents the crack from working.

To fix it, search for “Credential Manager” in your Windows search bar, open it, navigate to “Generic Credentials” section and delete all creds starting with Xbl*. Most probably, your bypass version will stop working after that, but CODEX crack will work.

Backwards Compatibility

This repack is NOT backwards compatible with my previous Gears 5 repack.

You can skip downloading of voicover packs you don’t need, “History of DmC” video and Live Action Cutscenes DLC. Here is the list of selective/optional files:

  • fg-selective-english.bin (make sure you’ve installed it before switching to English audio in game settings)
  • fg-selective-japanese.bin (make sure you’ve installed it before switching to Japanese audio in game settings)
  • fg-optional-history-video.bin (a short video, introducting newbies to the series history, available in game’s main menu)
  • fg-optional-live-action-dlc.bin (A special DLC, which replaces most of the game cutscenes with live-action movies recorded during development. When installed, can be activated in “Options” > “Cutscene Customize”. This DLC is not recommended for activating during the first playthrough.)

Backwards Compatibility

This repack is HEAVILY backwards compatible with my previous DmC5 repack. The only changed files are fg-04.bin and setup.exe, everything else can be rehashed.

Game Description
