Game Description

For the first time in the series, the expansive land of China is shown on a single map with the introduction of an open world format for diverse progression through the game. The ‘one vs. thousands’ exhilarating action of the Warriors series and the beloved characters from the Romance of the Three Kingdoms tale are carried over, but the freedom through an open world stage provides a brand new Warriors experience.

Key Missions unfold and progress the story of the player character, and are supplemented by numerous missions from various regions such as Regular Missions that affect the Key Missions and requests from other characters. The situation will be ever changing depending on what missions are selected. In the many battles that occur on the map, players will find a variety of strategies and tactics open to them such as “attacking head on,” “launching a surprise attack from an elevated position” or “infiltrating at night”, for numerous ways to enjoy the expansive world of the Three Kingdoms.

The map is displayed with beautiful graphics and features many different regions of China such as snow plains, jungles and deserts which reflect the passage of time and changing climate. Key cities and checkpoints, such as Luoyang and Hulao Gate, and landmarks such as the Yellow River and Mt. Song, are replicated, allowing for deeper immersion into the game world.

THERE IS NO NEW CONTENT IN THIS REPACK COMPARED TO AN OLD ONE.

The difference is the following:

  • About 25% faster installation
  • Less space required during installation (equal to installed final size)
  • More compatibility with less errors (especially for AMD/Ryzen users)
  • Less disk operations, more suitable for SSD installation, than initial repack
  • Separate installers for benchmark files and language files if you want to add them later, after you install main files. You can also use language installers if for some reason the main setup didn’t install language files in your case

ATTENTION! Under Windows 10 run the installer with compatibility set to Windows 7. Fall Creators Updated fucked up software compatibility one more time. Fucking Microsoft.

Game Description
Across the virtual realm of SE.RA.PH, Masters of digital magic commanded their Servants, great heroes and villains of history and lore, to fight in the Holy Grail War. The prize was the “Holy Grail” itself — aka the Moon Cell Automaton, a lunar supercomputer with the power to grant any wish.

Though the war has ended, with the Servant Nero and her Master on top, all is not well. Not only is Nero’s rival Servant already leading an uprising, but a new challenger waits in the dark, ready to tear through reality itself to strike at her heart.

Nero prepares to defend her new throne. Beside her stand her Master and a few loyal allies. Ahead lies not only an ocean of enemies, but an ancient secret far more terrible than any war…

The famous Fate EXTRA series strikes a path to a new stage with Fate/EXTELLA: The Umbral Star. Many of the fan favorite characters including the ancient Heroic Spirits (Servants) summoned by the Holy Grail, will make their appearances. “CUTSCENES” option added to the Main Menu. Play any and all cutscenes.

“CODECS” option added to the Main Menu. Play all and any codec conversation scenes.

Menu option added to the CHAPTER Menu enabling user to play only the Boss battles.

“GRAPHIC OPTIONS” added to the OPTIONS Menu. Modify resolution, anti-aliasing, etc.

There is an option reading “ZANGEKI” that will modify the amount of cuts you can make.

Lossy VS Lossless

I don’t like lossy compression, but this game is a rare exception.

Game videos in PC version of MGRR have 1280×720 resolution, with a bitrate of 20-24 MBbit/second with 29.97 FPS.

That’s why I made an option for you to download much smaller archive with re-encoded videos.

They still look pretty good at bitrate of 6~8 MBit/sec while keeping the same resolution and proper 5.1 surround audio. You can download this sample and compare quality:

If you don’t like the quality of re-encoded files, get original ones. Remember – the choice is always yours, not mine 😉

There are several repacks of 8 GB+ floating around. They all have PC 720p videos replaced with Xbox 360 1024×576 ones, with even lower bitrate than my repack offers. Those, who tell you that Xbox 360 videos are 720p and PC’s are 1080p – are lying to you.

Selective Download

You can skip downloading of files you don’t need. Here is the list of selective files:

  • setup-fitgirl-selective-videos-original.bin (Original videos, 1280×720, up to 24 Mbps)
  • setup-fitgirl-selective-videos-recoded.bin (Re-encoded videos, 1280×720, up to 8 Mbps)

In example, if you want to launch the game with re-encoded videos – skip [b]setup-fitgirl-selective-videos-original.bin[/b] files, but download [b]setup-fitgirl-selective-videos-recoded.bin[/b] & all main files (01-05).

  • ATTENTION! The game uses Low (720p) or High-quality (1080p) movies automatically, based on your resolution. So if you want to play in 1080, but with low-qiality movies, after installation copy all files from “mdatLow” to “mdatHigh” folder. And make it vice versa, if you want to play with high-res movies in a lower resolution. Otherwise you’ll see DQ logo as a placeholder
