Why this repack is called “Monkey Repack”

Most resources of MSFS are compressed with a custom variaton of a public compression algo, hence proper files (re)compression is not possible at the moment. So only basic compression was applied on most files, and that any monkey can do. Maybe in the future I will be able to deal with that custom compression and the new updated repacks of MSFS will be smaller.

Game Description
Grandpa has passed down his old farm to you. Help nurture it back to life in the new Homestead mode for Heat.

Homestead is a new Single Player mode, in which you build an amazing farm by day, and go to sleep at night. It was inspired by games such as Harvest Moon and Stardew Valley, but we wanted to take it in a different direction, mixing in many survival elements.

You can pick from 10 different scenarios. Each scenario has a different starting homestead, starting equipment, and some have special conditions. The game saves when you sleep at night, you can load up old saves, and it supports full admin commands.

There are 20 unique biomes in Heat spread out over a 67km2 world, each with its own sub-biomes to explore. We developed a unique way to create dense forest floors which requires players to clear the land in order to build. Explore vast and diverse landscapes ranging from the cold mountainous peaks to the tropical seashores, and from the harsh deserts to the muggy swamplands. Built from the roots up using real-world photogrammetric data, experience next generation graphics in both variety and detail.

Backwards Compatibility

This repack is HEAVILY backwards compatible with my previous repack of FCND. The only changed files are setup.exe, fg-05.bin and fg-06.bin, so you can save up to 16.2 GB of traffic by rehashing.

HD Texture Pack (Compatible with v1.0.5)

The Ultra-HD texture pack will upgrade some of the most common textures in the game, to a new level of visual fidelity, such as characters and weapons. This higher level of detail can be best appreciated while playing the game in 4K resolution, but is not limited to that.

The Far Cry® New Dawn team put a lot of effort to try to deliver a solid and scalable experience to the PC community, so those of you running a 4 GB GPU will still be able to enjoy this texture pack from 1080p to 1440p resolutions.

Those of you with the high-end 6+ GB GPUs, you will be able to play the game in a sharp 4K resolution, along with this, HD textures under standard lighting and shading options.

Last but not least, for those of you that have the MEGA PCs with dual GPUs and more than 6 GB of video ram, you will be able to run the game in 4K. Featuring the HD textures, and with the highest settings of lighting and shading, which take advantage of tech like displacement mapping.

The HD texture pack for Far Cry® New Dawn only impacts the video RAM usage.

Spanning from 10 million to 2 million years ago, play as one of the first hominids and evolve over the course of millions of years during key stages in human evolution. Make crucial discoveries and hone physical abilities that will be passed down to future generations such as Ardipithecus ramidus and Australopithecus.
  • Choose How You Survive: Evolution was not written in stone. Your decisions shape how you will overcome obstacles, increase your species, and what knowledge will pass on to future generations. Focus on specific attributes or choose a more balanced approach to survival. Your clan’s ability to survive will be directly impacted by your choices, making each player’s experience unique.
