Story:
The year is 2024 AD. Mankind has won the long battle against the unknown invaders. The enemy Primers are now gone and peace has returned to Mother Earth. However, the population has shrunk to 10% and the world was on the verge of collapse. The survivors fought against the remaining threats while trying their best to continue their recovery. Three years passed in the year 2027. In a new world without hope, the time has come to once again resist the fate of the Earth.

Save the future of Earth in the new world.
The identity of the invader that has long tormented Earth is finally revealed. A chain of deep despair that strikes in a devastated world for the first time in the series…But your presence as a soldier of the EDF will lead humanity to the greatest joy. Now you must face it with courage and wisdom.

Choose your Mech and engage hundreds of bizarre creatures in epic battles, gaining weapons, equipment and resources along the way to upgrade and customize your Mech.

    Deep Mech Customization
    Engage the enemy on your terms! Develop an all-round Mech, built to do everything at once, or specialize it, allowing for devastating long-range barrages of high-velocity guns, or get up close with flame throwers and double-gatling guns. Choose from among a wide variety of mechs and weapons.

    Customize over 20 elements of your Mobile armour. Equip unique parts such as mine throwers, air support modules or weapon cooling systems.

    About the developer
    This is a one-man passion project. Mecha Knights are my attempt to create the Mech game I always wanted to play. I’ve wanted to combine the elements from games like Armored Core, Front Mission, Earth Defence Force, and even Resident Evil, in an apocalyptic war theme that could be seen in animes such as Muv: Luv and Blue Gender. A game where it’s not just you, the player, that is winning the whole war as a one-man army, but rather that you take part in larger operations – where you and your allies fight hundreds of enemies. A game where extensive customization and progression allows you to develop your own Mech, while the game keeps you engaged with the story of the soldiers.

Game Description
Mercenary Battle Company: The Reapers is a fast-paced, roguelite, bullet heaven game where you pilot giant mecha robots and fight off hordes of alien creatures known as the Xeni.

Different pilots are available for your mecha robots, each with their unique special abilities, different weapons and mech attachments. But why did the pilots choose such a precarious job?

There are endless ways to annihilate the Xeni! Vaporize them with a Flamethrower or disintegrate them with the EMP. Poison them, shock them, freeze them, and if all else fails, make them explode with the Pulsar Cannon or explosive bullets.

Delve into the heart of the Xeni swarm!

Through expeditions for exploration, resources and relocation, the ever-growing population of mankind stretched far across the numerous galaxies. Major corporations were the foremost players in the race for expeditions since the scope for commerce and expansion was unimaginable.

After Ether was discovered, it became the definitive fuel source for civilization. But with Ether came a threat! Hostile alien creatures, termed as ‘Xeni’, feed on Ether and infest planets with large Ether reservoirs. The Reaper Division, or simply ‘The Reapers’, is an infamous division formed by the Mercenary Battle Company to exterminate swarms of these pests for safe Ether mining.

You have one job as a Reaper: eradicate the Xeni at any cost!

Game Description
You play as a charming Mech unit that has awakened to discover a world overrun by corrupted AI. Choose your path and rewards allowing you to research new skills, mod your Mech and its weapons and grow stronger. And yes, you can also play with your Mech looks!

The search for your missing pilot friend will bring you to different spectacular locations where the impact of the AI upraise changed the world as we know it. Every fight will take place in a selected location of this beautiful and devastated world. Your quest will bring you to places like a deserted Barcelona, Industrialized Nairobi, the mines hidden in the snowy mountain rifts of North America or an overgrown and futuristic Hong Kong.

We have combined the handcrafted approach to our level design with a randomization system. The type of enemies, the amount, the sequence and the timing will be different every time you play the same level. This way, instead of memorizing, the player is asked to master the combat systems and react to every new situation. You’ll encounter increasingly challenging threats that will test all your combat skills. However, there will also be ways for you to upgrade and customize your arsenal.

In every run, you’ll have to navigate through every region map. The rewards (often 2) that can be found will be relevant in order to choose the path forward. These maps (and the associated rewards) are different after every death and restart.

As you play, new weapons will unlock, ranging from shotguns and auto-rifles to plasma boomerangs and rocket launchers. Each weapon can handle different situations and enemies better: some are devastating against big swarms of enemies while others are better suited for heavily armored foes. You can equip them in pairs and experiment to find your favorite combination for every occasion.

During a run, the Mech unit can be improved in different ways. Plugins will add new skills, improve some of the stats or enhance your special Heat Attacks. They can be leveled up for an even stronger effect. Additionally, weapon mods are special effects that can be equipped on weapons with available slots. Experiment with their effects on every weapon type and combine them to create your favorite build. More than one weapon mod of the same type can be stacked to increase the intensity of the effects.

Once the Mech is defeated, it will be reprinted on the Orbital Station that acts as your main hub. Modifications for weapons and other perks will be gone. However, the Intel that you have collected will be useful here to acquire permanent upgrades from the Research Tree. These upgrades will increase your survivability, attack or add some nice extras for the run in the form of Expansion Cartridges. However, not all of them can be equipped at once since your Memory capacity is limited. You’ll have to choose Expansion Cartridges wisely based on your preferred playstyle and strategy. Luckily, Memory capacity can also be increased, giving you a chance of stacking more of the Expansion Cartridges in the future.
