Game Description
Frank West, a freelance photojournalist on the hunt for the scoop of a lifetime, pursues a juicy lead to a small suburban town only to find that it is being overrun by zombies! He escapes to the local shopping mall thinking it will be a bastion of safety, but it turns out to be anything but. It’s a true struggle to survive the endless stream of enemies, but with full reign over an entire shopping center, Frank can utilize anything to fight off the flesh-hungry mob and search for the truth behind the horrendous epidemic.

This action horror game brings new meaning to the phrase “retail hell.” Dead Rising uses a dynamic real-time system in which time continues to pass whether Frank is actively engaged or remains stationary. For example, though they move slowly during the day, zombies become stronger and faster when the sun sets and make it even more difficult to survive at night. The unprecedented swarms come in never-ending waves and consist of a diverse population. These former humans retain some memory of their previous lives and it is reflected in their behavior and appearance. The variety of different stores in the mall offers an endless supply of resources including vehicles, makeshift weapons and more. Other survivors are encountered along the way and helping them can provide valuable clues as to what has happened.

As you can see in my upcoming repacks list, I’ve added Mafia 2 & CoD: MW2. They both received final scene releases lately, all patched, all DLCs, full multi. So, help me to decide, on which of them should I focus along with repacking fresh games?

DOOM: IDDQD Repack details

cover_doom_iddqdSo, when my poll showed, that many of you would like to see ripped version of DOOM, without multiplayer and SnapMap editor, I started to work on it. But since I don’t like the idea of ripping and prefer to give YOU a choice, I’ve managed to make not a rip, but a proper new repack, which allows you to download the game in any form you like – with or without MP and/or SnapMap, as I did with giant Black Ops 3 repack.

And I didn’t spent my time for nothing. Here are the features of upcoming DOOM IDDQD Repack (named after an infamous cheat code in original DOOM, which gave you a God Mode).

  • Smallest lossless rip/repack in the world: the minimum size is just 27.6 GB, while complete game with Credits/MP/SnapMap is 38.3 GB, 400 MBs smaller, then the previous repack.
  • Faster installation. Installation time reduced by 10-50%, depending on your hardware. Optimized compression and lower HDD load as a free bonus 🙂
  • Selective download of optional components: Multiplayer files (for possible future cracks/servers/whatever), SnapMap (so you can create maps if you wish), and Credits video (contains spoilers!). Of course, language selection is intact, as always. Only Premium Service for my dear users 🙂

There is only one downside with new IDDQD Repack. It’s absolutely backwards incompatible with initial repack due to changed compression scheme and new selective download options.

As for delivery time. I hope to release it tomorrow. But if you already downloaded the first repack, there is no need for a new one. Only if you want to replace the old with new in your collection.

DOOM Rip, anyone need it?

As you know, I don’t like rips. I had one in my history of repacking (Evolve), and that’s all. But I was asked in comments to original DOOM repack, if I should make the ripped version of the game without multiplayer and snapmap (maps editor). If I do it, it will be the smallest rip available, of course. But should I put my time in it?

Livelock Poll

I have Livelock repack ready for many days now. The only problem is, that CODEX released contains only English voiceovers, and while I’ve got Russian too, French and German ones are still missing and I can’t tell if I will be able to get them at all. So here’s the poll.

Upcoming Witcher 3 Repack Details

Well, it’s done and needs just some more tests.

Here’s a quick peek of changes.

Size for any single language (voiceovers, all texts languages included by default): 23.5 GB – new world record, I’ve beaten my previous repack nearly by 600 MB

Installation time decreased for about 20-30 minutes on HDD, even more on SSD.
On 8-cores CPUs and SSD this repack is the fastest in the world.

Unfortunately, due to lots of changes in game files, backwards compatibilty is limited to bins 02 and 07, saving you 4.7 GB. Well, it’s better than nothing.
