As some of you may know, I decided not to make the repack of Senran Kagura: Estival Versus, cause many different users requested it here and there without even trying to read my FAQ.

But maybe I’m too harsh to them and shouldn’t punish for their gaming desires? Tell me your opinion.

With this test I’m checking the compatibility of some compression algos I use. To participate in this test:

2. Unzip it to any folder
3. Install all three setups one after another
4. Write down installation time and verification results
5. Post your results in comments in the following form:

   – CPU type
   – RAM amount
   – Time 1, Result
   – Time 2, Result
   – Time 3, Result
   – AVs/Firewalls present

Example of report:

– Intel i5 6600
– 16 GB
– 0:04, OK
– 0:21, Stuck
– 0:35, Failed
– Windows Defender Off

In normal environment on modern CPUs all three installers should succeed, but I need more info on older CPUs. So if you have an access to such a hardware – please test installers on it too.

Three Denuvo-protected games were released today by CPY. Just Cause 3, Mad Max & Sherlock Holmes: The Devils Daughter. All three will have their own FitGirl repacks but of course. JC3 and MM compression ratio and installation speed will be improved, just like with GTA5.

As you could notice, I like to improve my repacks over time – both compression ratio and installation speed. I’ve waited pretty long for RELOADED to crack an updated GTAV version, but unfortunately it’s yet to happen. But I needed to check the new tools and algos on my favorite toy…

So, tomorrow I will release an updated v2.1x repack for GTAV. Look at the comparison table to see what have been changed.

As you can see, all metrics have improved. New repack is smaller, installs faster, require less space during installation.

And you’ll be able to rehash 21.3 GB of existing data to save on download.

* On SSD installation speed will be 10-25% faster, so on modern i7s one can get installation time below one hour.

My current seedbox provider turned to shiiiiiiiiet, so now I’m looking for a new one. I’ve found some good stuff, but maybe you know better and (which would be very cool) can provide me one for free? 🙂

What am I looking for?

Truly unlimited traffic (upload included), great upload speed, good perfomance (up to 100 torrents at super-seed mode), stable, accepting bitcoins.

Some test data from one yet-uncracked game.

Compressed 180 files, 44,534,345,240 => 16,056,726,885 bytes. Ratio 36.05%
Compression time: cpu 1808.94 sec/real 131105.97 sec = 1%. Speed 0.34 mB/s

More than 36 hours of compression, 14 minutes for decompression (from HDD to the same HDD). LZMA would compress it much, much faster. But this archive will decompress faster than LZMA and archive is several hundreds of megabytes smaller, than best brute-forced LZMA settings. FYI, theHunter was compressed in 11 hours.

Remember this next time, when you ask why I release repacks not in a few hours after scene ISO 🙂

Uploading Obama

Here’s the deal. I have the repack of WD2 in my dockyard ready for internal tests. Unlike all other repacks already available, it’s the smallest in the world (~16.4/16.7 GB for any single language) but of course – thanks to a one good guy (he prefers to stay anonymous just yet), who’ve made the proper repacking tools.

But I have some doubts. This repack has two modes of installation: one is not bit-perfect, but faster (around 30 minutes on a generic PC, faster on SSD) and another one is much slower (around 1 hour + up to 2 hours for Ultra Textures add-on, 4.1 GB), but is bit-perfect mode.

Alternatively, I can make generic repack with a size of around 18-something GB, as all other ones – installation time of it will be 10-15 minutes. The small difference is due the game’s resources: more than half of it’s size are eaten by uncompressible audio and video files.

So, please vote, what would you prefer. I must remind you, that I never take poll results as a direction, but use it for consideration. So don’t expect that the winning option will produce the elected repack.

One more time, for most illiterate users: BOTH repacks are bit-perfect. Smaller has 2 modes – bit-perfect and fast, larger (if I make it) will have ONLY bit-perfect mode.
